Limits of Derision

When Insults Lose Their Disrespect

Words can harm, until they don’t.  And lies can be believed, until nothing can.  When truth becomes a brand, slander becomes slurry, and nothing seems to matter, then who cares?  Ultimately, actions take control, until they don’t.

Words describe what happened when actions created history.  Eventually, words become history, written and rewritten until they are no longer believed but simply accepted.  Insults become anecdotal, and actions become insults for a new generation.

Words are like clouds, graying the skies, until the light of veracity evaporates them away.  The light of honesty may be too rapturous to describe, too supreme to denigrate.
