Daylight and The Darkness
Days grow longer as winter begins
As Spring approaches in a few weeks, the days become noticeably longer. In much of the world, it may seem ironic that the land grows colder as the first days of Winter grow longer, as though the sun is taking back the warmth it spread before.
Irony is a way we see things, not the way they are. Hope often grows fastest just before tragedy. Despair may be a sign of pending renewal. The end marks a new beginning.
The quiet comfort of complacency makes fertile soil for rebellion. Being trodden upon or marching forward are two parts of the same process. Where do you stand in the light of day?
